​​Carlos founded CV Companies after spending over 20 years in the construction industry and holding the title of Director of Construction and President of Construction for nationally-recognized development companies. He has an extensive background in building award-winning hotels, retail centers, and residential projects.
Leif henderson
PROJECT MANAGER
Mr. Henderson has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, offering a broad and comprehensive knowledge of multiple aspects of the building process. His extensive background includes successfully delivering projects across diverse sectors such as retail, hospitality, industrial, financial, medical, educational, multifamily, and a wide range of commercial developments.
Throughout his career, Mr. Henderson has consistently demonstrated expertise in managing complex projects, ensuring quality, efficiency, and value at every stage. His proven ability to lead teams, coordinate stakeholders, and oversee construction from concept to completion has made him a trusted partner in achieving successful outcomes. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to innovation, Mr. Henderson adds tremendous value to any construction project he undertakes.
Joann martinez
VP OF CONSTRUCTION
Joann is a results-driven Project Manager with over 15 years of experience in commercial and hospitality construction across Texas, Colorado, and Maryland. She has successfully managed projects for leading hotel brands including Marriott, Hyatt, and Westin. Her project portfolio includes Marriott Properties: Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites, Residence Inn, TownePlace Suites, Aloft, and Element by Westin properties. Her involvement included overseeing both ground-up developments and complex renovations.
Before joining CV Companies, Joann held leadership roles with Propel Construction, RLJ Lodging Trust, and Ingerman, managing multimillion-dollar hospitality projects and capital improvement programs. Her deep understanding of brand standards, budget management, and construction compliance ensures projects are delivered with precision, safety, and efficiency.
At CV Companies, LLC, Joann leads all phases of project delivery — from preconstruction coordination and contract administration to submittals, scheduling, and closeout. She has thrived since her first CV project at Hyatt Place in Eagle Pass. She has also expanded her knowledge with restaurant and retail buildouts with projects such as Taco Palenque, WFN Foods, and RYC Foods.
